Youth
A place to belong, grow, and be yourself

Meet Caz our Youth Minister
Caz is passionate about creating a welcoming and inclusive space where every young person feels accepted, valued, and truly seen. She loves helping children explore faith in ways that feel meaningful, creative, and personal to them. Always approachable and ready to listen, Caz encourages questions and enjoys helping young people discover answers through conversation, creativity, and shared exploration of faith together.

Children, Young People, and Families at New Creation Churches
At New Creation Churches, children and young people are at the heart of all we do. We love seeing young families thrive in our community and aim to create a welcoming, fun, and safe space for everyone to explore faith, friendship, and creativity.
We enjoy a special relationship with the three primary schools in our parishes, St Andrew’s Primary, St Anne’s Primary, and Banwell Primary and we also stay connected with students at Churchill Secondary School.
During our Sunday services, we provide activities for children and young people, with our Youth Minister, Caz, on hand to lead crafts and creative projects suitable for all ages. These activities help children engage with stories from the Bible in a fun and interactive way while parents enjoy the service. Throughout the year, we also organise exciting holiday clubs packed with games, creativity, and opportunities to make new friends. Be sure to check out our “What’s On” page to see upcoming events, activities, and ways for children and families to get involved.

Events Throughout the Year
Throughout the year we run a variety of fun, creative and faith-filled events for children and families to enjoy together. Our Prepare, Cook & Eat sessions bring families together to share food, learn new skills and enjoy time around the table in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
During the Easter season, our popular Easter Craft Club offers children the chance to get creative with themed activities, games and seasonal fun. We also enjoy celebrating Shrove Tuesday with lively Pancake Parties filled with laughter, friendship and, of course, plenty of pancakes.
Our Drama Club meets every Sunday during term time from 5:30pm – 7:00pm in The Refectory at St Andrew’s Congresbury. Drama Club is a fun and encouraging space for young people to build confidence, make friends and explore creativity through drama, games and performance activities.
At Christmas, we host a range of themed festive events alongside special Family Services, creating opportunities for all ages to celebrate together through crafts, worship, storytelling and community gatherings. These occasions are a wonderful way for families to connect, celebrate the season and share in the joy of church life together.

Cafe Church
Café Church is a relaxed space to explore faith, ask honest questions, and connect with others over food and conversation. Set in a casual café-style atmosphere, it’s a place where you can come exactly as you are; whether you’re curious about faith, figuring out what you believe, or just looking for good conversation and community.
There’s no formal service or pressure to have all the answers. Instead, we share music, ideas, stories, and conversations about life and faith in an open and welcoming environment. You can join in, ask questions, share your thoughts, or simply listen and take it all in. Café Church is also a great space for young people to explore big questions and hear different perspectives and experiences from people of all ages in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Each evening finishes with a short reflection and prayer, followed by time to hang out, chat, and enjoy refreshments together.
No church background or experience needed — everyone is welcome.
